Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) provides a pathway to lawful permanent residence for certain children who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned by one or both parents. This immigration relief faces some complexity as it intertwin with family law. As a licensed attorney in the State of Texas, SIJS petitions can be handled from getting the State Court Orders until getting an approval before the offices of USCIS.
